In 1971, Sörbo made the courageous decision to move to the United States, seeking new opportunities and a fresh start. He settled in sunny Southern California, where he was warmly embraced by the local community. The welcoming spirit and endless possibilities of his new home fueled Sörbo's ambition and creativity, leading him to explore multiple paths in life, from business to art and music.

The Innovator: Revolutionizing the Window Cleaning Industry

While Sörbo initially began his journey in the U.S. as a window cleaner, it wasn’t long before his inventive mind took over. Frustrated with the limitations of traditional window cleaning tools, he began designing his own equipment to make the job faster and more efficient. His creativity and determination led to the founding of Sörbo Products, Inc., a company that would revolutionize the window cleaning industry.

In the early 1980s, Sörbo introduced his now-iconic 3x4 adjustable aluminum squeegee, a tool that would forever change the way professionals approached window cleaning. Over the years, Sörbo has patented over 10 innovative tools, including the Docket squeegee blade sharpener, the TwistLock extension pole system, and the Eliminator, the longest squeegee in the world, which ranges from 48" to 78". His inventions have saved time and money for countless window cleaners, earning him the title of "The Godfather of the Wide-body 3x4 Adjustable Aluminum Squeegee."

Celebrating over 50 years in the window cleaning industry, Sörbo’s contributions have left an indelible mark, making him a respected leader and innovator. His business success mirrors the same passion and creativity that he brings to his art and music.
